Dress code

We are having a traditional, elegant Catholic wedding, so here are a few tips in case you were wondering!

It’s recommended that guests avoid wearing anything too brightly colored or with bold patterns. Jewelry should be understated. And, in line with Catholic tradition, it is appropriate to cover bare arms, legs and shoulders, if possible.

Gentlemen

  • Dark suit or tuxedo
  • White dress shirt
  • Conservative tie
  • Dress shoes (black or brown)

Ladies

  • Floor-length or knee-length dress (preferably in a formal fabric such as satin or silk)
  • Conservative, elegant attire (avoid anything too revealing or too casual)
  • Dress shoes (heels or flats, as preferred)
  • Avoid Black, White, Red, and Purple
